Feb 22, 2013 · It's an IP address of the world's most famous DNS server. Probably busiest, but i don't know about "most famous", i feel like 4.2.2.2 is etched into everyone's memory. Personally I prefer 4.4.2.2 (same provider) only because it's easier for me to think in multiples of 2. (of course 8.8.8.8 is the only one i actually bother using).
