Jun 18, 2017 Lost all access, except via VPN : freenas FINALLY, I created a new FreeNAS 11.3-U3.2 usb install media, installed fresh onto my mirrored boot usb drives, again opting for traditional BIOS rather than UEFI. Boot went fine, I re-importing my FreeNAS config and all was back to normal. EXCEPT, now my mobo and FreeNAS 11.3-U3.2 install were set to use the traditional BIOS at boot. Install OpenVPN on FreeNAS. 1. (Optional) Create jail. If you want OpenVPN to run in a jail, you must first create one. If you already have jail, or don't want to use it go 2. Enable SSH. 3.
